Does the B643R part number work for all Bo, BR tractors? Mine is 1936, and appears to be a BR with BO sheet metal and exhaust. I say this because it only has a single brake pedal.
Also, where could I possibly find a brake pedal? Internet search only seems to get me standard B results...

JD model BR brake pedal is part # A988R. Parts Depot didn't show to have a pedal

I wish you had said originally that your tractor was a BR with a BO hood and one service brake pedal. The info I gave you was for BO tractors.

Tx Jim has the correct part number for the pedal you need.

You might try a tractor salvage yard. I don't have one to recommend.

What's wrong with the pedal you have now or is it missing?

The pedal is broke off. I don't have the piece that broke off. Also, it is confusing (to me) as to whether the service brake means one pedal for both wheels. I assume that is the case, and A988R is indeed the correct part. Would any other pedal work? Perhaps from an AR, or a D? Seems the pedal for BR is scarce....

i have the parts you need for a model d. you would have to drill out the rivets and turn the leg over and reattach

According to parts catalog # 674 early model AO & AR(250000-271999) brake pedal will fit BR but A988R isn't listed in model D parts catalogs.

IMHO AR & BR brake pedal(A988R) doesn't resemble D brake pedal(D2687R

Where is it broke? Can you fabricate something so you cab use the brakes? And yes service brake only means stoping, no turning brake. Untill the 1950 model the AR did not have turning brakes either. Don't know why but to get turning brakes you had to buy either the BO or AO and then to look like a field tractor and not an orchard tractor you had to buy the parts as service parts and change then to get a BR or AR with turning brakes. I don't know why Deere decided you did not need turning brakes in field working ground, The D did not have turning brakes but the GP did. Confusing yes, smart NO.
