Oil Control Ring Installation

Greetings and Happy New Year!

I am installing new pistons after having my cylinders bored out to .090. The aluminum piston kit has two extra rings in the pouch with the oil control ring. Do these two rings go on either side of the oil control ring, 'sandwiching the oil control ring?

Did you replace the cam bearings and if so did you follow the instructions in the service manual? If not you'll be doing it over.
 
Most definitely. Plus the ends are staggered 1 inch each way from the oil ring. Do not put the ring ends on the major thrust side.
 
Yes, sir. I had a local machine shop install and shave the bearing to tolerance. Thank you for your reply, sir.
