It's been a 100 years since the John Deere D came out. That means 100 years off John Deere tractors and still running strong.

Pretty amazing when you think about it for sure. Pioneer Acres at Irricanna Alberta will be celebrating that 100 year achievement this summer by featuring the John Deere
D. I will be taking mine there if Im not working.

I recall thinking that when my '38 A turned 50, that was pretty old for a tractor, now my 4630 will be 50 in a couple of years and somehow it doesn't seem as old as the A was. Perhaps it is because that old unstyled A looks more primitive, while the 4630 still has a passing resemblance to newer models.
