Have been posting about the steering issue on my 720. Got the vane in the right way, then it would not steer to the right without jamming and sticking. Took the steering valve off and the worm gear assembly off. The worm gear assembly seems to be okay. Pulled the steering valve apart and found all three of the sliding valves in it where sticky. Cleaned them all up nice and they move freely and easily. Put all backt together and fired up the tractor and now I have excellent steering to the left and going back to the right it doesnt jam up but its like I have manual steering no or very little power steering. I have the steering valve adjusted all the way to the rear of the tractor to get it to work at all. Super easy steering to the left. My 720 is an early production model. I have a IT manual that is helpful but I do not have the two cylinder power steering manual that I thought I could borrow from a fellow tractor guy I know but he cannot find it. Just looking for some ideas before I tear it apart again.
