B - rear axle bearings

Get the numbers off the bearings and search them. You may also find them on NAPA, A-Z or other parts chains but probably Chinese made. Any local bearing supplier could get them for you without the JD inflated price. Or search the JD part number in Timken's interchange catalog.

It's been five years or so, but I remember that the local Deere dealer had the cheapest price for rear axle bearings for my JD50. That was with me picking the bearings up at the dealership - no shipping added on. Things may have changed.

Assuming it is a styled B, they used the same cup for inner and outer bearings but different cones for the outer bearing depending on the serial number and if it is a B or BN or BW.

I picked up on your name. Was just wondering if you were the one time famous wrestling star.. He was big time in the southeast US. This was 50 years ago. He's still alive somewhere. Anyway enough of my nonsense.

I help a friend on a 50 JD and all the bearings were easy to find. Good luck.
