2510 gas tractor ?

in my area 3020 gas tractors have a very poor reputation,
but i know nothing about 2510 gas tractors!
what's the good, bad and ugly of a 2510 gas, synchro, 1967,

shows around 5000 hours on tack, tractor looks good overall,

From what I understand those gas carbs/engines were a lot less finicky.

The carbs were totally different and the 2510 works much better than the 3020 on todays gas. The 3020 used a very heavy balancer system with 2 gears that ran off the crankshaft that makes them a little sluggish in throttle response. The 2510 used a different setup that makes them snappier to operate. The bad is 2 issues. The pto setup is not as good as the 3020's and when new they had a 4 piston hyd. pump. The 4 piston pump is ok when working but if it ever fails you are much better off updating to 8 piston pump like the 3020-4020. For a small tractor they handle great. I have both a 2510 gas and a diesel. Tom
