john deere 300B seat assembly.

hey y'all I'm in a real bind. I bought this backhoe a few years ago. Seat was shot, so I disassembled every thing and bought a new seat. Painted everything and rebushed what needed it. Then I decided to rebuild the motor. 3 years later, I finished the motor and injector pump rebuilds and got the motor back up and running and everything works, but I am totally lost as the reassembling the seat. I figured I could just look at the parts diagram and it would be no problem. The 300B is a 1979 model (300BD 3197491). I was careful and kept every part that came off it of. So I pulled up a parts diagram for the seat and the diagram is not even close to what came off of it. All the heavy cast parts all have the JD part #'s cast into them. Seat assembly functioned properly when I bought the tractor, it was just worn slap out. It appears there was more than one seat option. Below is a link to the JD online parts catalog for the 300B. Look through section 75 HOOD, GRILLE, CANOPY, SEAT AND FENDERS and see if yours is there.
