Bought a 4320 that hadnt ran for a few years. We put new rebuilt pump on it runs nice but has more blow-by than what we like. Probably know answer but open for opinions. It only had 6200 hours and
bought it non running but owner thought it was fine when He parked it. I am just going to sell it with blow by and hope to break even.Going to change oil but imagine probably needs redone Thanks.

Needs a good workout?? Check oils and coolant and go.. Put some lub in with fresh
diesel. Only 6200 hours; just broken in.. The 4320 is a good tractor !!

Got a neighbor with a manure pump? Years ago dad got a IH 856 from a dealer friend that had been on two dealer lots. Bad blowby and oil out the exhaust. Put it on the neighbors manure pump for an afternoon and cooked all the junk out and it ran great. It sure smoked for the first hour. Sold it to a customer that bought 2 other tractors latter on, he said it ran great. A couple hours on a dyno would do the same thing. Tom

Agree 100% with the responses here. Piston rings could be stuck from machine sitting for an extended period. Wouldn't assume engine rebuild is necessary, until you've worked the machine enough to bring engine up to operating temperature for awhile. Nothing harder on anything mechanical that non-use for extended periods ... and getting all fluids moving again could clear your issue up completely!
