Hello All, Got a question I have a John Deere G with live hydraulics, and i am purchasing a F835A 3 bottom roll over plow, and i was wondering how i would separate the 3 point to lift the plow out of the ground and the SCV to flip the plow over. any help would be great

I'd have to agree with loosehandle... if this a 3 bottom rollover, with 3 on top and 3 on the bottom, you are asking a lot of the G's rockshaft.

Deere had a service bulletin for using a rollover plow on the 60/70 tractors and they basically fed a Cessna? external spool valve off the pressure line going from the pump then the pressure continued to the rockshaft. You could do that, or you could buy and add a Baker valve between your rockshaft and the rear end housing. That would provide another hydraulic circuit to use for the rollover function.

I don't have a rockshaft lift spec, I actually doubt that will be a problem. Keeping your front end on the ground might be. Deere didn't recommend the 800 hitches for the letter tractors because of that, if I remember right. I have a 70D with a four bottom 3 point plow and the front end gets light with that, and it has a wide front end.

You might be rigging weights and loading the front tires.

I have a three point on my G but it won't lift my 7' flail mower which is not nearly as heavy as a three bottom roll over plow.

This might be easier than me finding the pictures. Google John Deere G with 822 plow and the YT post should come up with the pictures I posted before
