Auxiliary Light Socket Refurbishing

I have an original single wire AM2049T auxiliary light socket I am attempting to refurbish.
I realize Steiner sells a reproduction, but it requires both a hot and ground wire.
I would like to retain the original single wire feature if I could.
If anyone can get me pointed the right direction on this issue, it would be appreciated.

I expect contacting salvage yards, looking at eBay, etc. to find a used one in working condition is about your only option. I don't think there were parts sold to "refurbish" them even in their day. The complete socket was replaced.

Did you try Agri-Services from NY?

They are very helpful and might be able to point you in the right direction.

Thank you. Excellent advice. You saved me a great deal of time and effort
Agri-Services stocks the single wire AM2049T electrical outlet socket and also the mating male plug.
I have a pair on order.
