1936 John Deere B

I am wondering what a 1936 John Deere B might be worth? It has flat spoke rims on the backs, tires are junk. rims on the front are just solid metal, tires are junk. The motor does turn over. It has not been run in many years. The exhaust pipe is missing back to the manifold, so I thinking weather has affected inside maybe. The gear shift is stuck (meaning you cannot move the gearshift), so the tractor does not roll as I am told. I am looking for an estimate of value before I go to look at it? The sheet metal is straight. The tractor is stored outside under a tarp. Thank You for your thoughts.

Ive got a 38 JD A, that I paid $500 for about 2 years ago on dual rear steel wheels, motor and tranny are free, block has a hair line crack in it, not ever going to do anything with it, once had it out for yard art but now in the barn. Put it up for sale once since Im not going to fix it up and was offered $1500 for it by two different folks but the wife intervened and said NO, she wanted it to stay. So if I were you I would ask a little more for it than you think its worth, you might be surprised what it could bring. Dont know where you live but Id be interested if you lived a few hours away from south Alabama.

I have a similar tractor that I've been working on. The condition was worse than you describe and mine had been outside and not running for 50+ years. I'll have around $5000 into it and I've done most of the work myself. It'll be basically new engine, new tires, new paint and some new metal.

I gave $800 for my 1935 B a year and a half ago. It turned over good, needed Mag work and i got an xtra mag, also needed one new rear 38" tire, other side was new, I changed all the oils and rebuilt Carb. Now have a strong running 35 unstyled B. Flat spoke rears and round spoke fronts.
