John Deere 40 carb

Ive been around JD 40s and 420s all my life and own two 420s and one 40 currently. Just saw this JD
40 for sale on Facebook Marketplace and havent contacted the owner to ask about this carb as Im not
interested in buying the tractor. Thought some yall might could identify this carb , its got me puzzled..

Interesting in that the owner says this is a good running tractor, all I can say its definitely not a Marvel Schebler carb
 
I know its not correct, just wondering what the heck it is, and no air filter connected to it either.
