1120 3pt hitch calibration

Hey guys
I'm having a few issues with The new to me 1120 I
Posted a thread yesterday about my diff lock now let's get into this issue !
My three point hitch lifts high very very high . With my blower on if the arms creep up which they tend to do it will bind my pto shaft up at a steep angle . Now I tried bolting a stopper in to stop the handle from travelling so far but the problem is I need to come up over that stopper to reach my desired stop height then go back down below it to allow it to settle back down .
My question is what is causing that all my other 3 point hitch handles is just up and down they don't require me to move
Past a certain height to get it to lift then drop it back down it almost seems like it needs a valve adjustment somewhere .
Also any good leads on a place to
Purchase a good shop manual
For this unit ?

Adjusting external/internal 3 pt control linkage is outlined in JD tech manuals. 3 pt quadrant should have an adjustable hitch height/deep knob. Does handle require hand pressure to move? If handle moves by itself there are friction washers that need to be tightened up or replaced. Tech manuals can be acquired @ https://techpubs.deere.com/en-US/Search/Equipment
