If you are wanting a way to warm up your hyds a better way is a threaded frost plug heater. Years ago I bought a 3020 that someone had taken the plug where the transmission screen is and drilled and threaded it. They installed a block heater about 4 inches long. You most likely would have needed to keep it plugged in overnight. My guess is the tractor was used to feed cows everyday. Tom
 
I'd thought of doing the same thing Tom and it'd likely work pretty slick unless the tractor was running the "upgraded" plastic strainer...
