(quoted from post at 05:34:04 01/08/22) This engine showed up on the local CL today, it's in the Philadelphia, PA area. I've no connection or knowledge over than what is posted.

I wish those worked in a 2010. That would be a easy 5 hr road trip from me. Right up the Eastern Shore.

Maybe someone with more knowledge can
answer, but I thought the 2510 and 2010
shared the same engine. So I would think
this one would work in a 2010 also

The 1010 and 2010 both used an odd engine where instead of individual sleeves they had a deck with all 4 sleeves welded to it. How the same company that made the 3010 and 4010 could ever build something as poor as a 2010 is beyond me. Tom

2020 used the same engine as the 2510.

My reasoning is that there were different engineers at Waterloo & Dubuque factories that had different ideas. IMHO Waterloo hyd's, power steering, brake valves & diff lock were much better than the 20 & later series Dubuque counterpart assemblies. Also the draft control mechanism on 2010 hyd system reminds me of an erector set
