Are there any major differences? Which is newer? Can you use a bolt on section sickle in these?

You can use a bolt on section on pretty much any sickle you want as long as you use the right hold downs . Rivets arent bad on a sickle mower I actually prefer them over bolts . Now on a swather rivets are a pain trying to chop the head off and drive the old rivet out while trying to not get stabbed by a reel tine .

What brand is the model 150 mower? JD didn't build a model 150 sickle mower. I agree with SV that bolts can be utilized for sickle sections if utilizing correct hold downs.
