What does the temp do when the tractor is stationary and operating at fast idle ?

On my 830 it seems I put new thermostats in it. Mid 80,s. It would warm up quite slowly but by the time you had greased and serviced the tool you were pulling it was warm enough to go. Maybe 140 degrees. I remember a hot day summerfallowing it would run 195 into the light breeze and 205 going with the breeze. I was pulling a 36 ft Morris rodweeder. Great day for killing weeds. I would always let it cool down to about 170 before shutting it down. Now it just does some tractor pulling at antique shows and takes a long time to get temperature too. I think its just the nature of the old girl. They were built to work and did it well with not much fuel. It never burnt more than 2 Canadian gallons per hour when I worked it hard pulling a 20 ft Noble blade in 2nd gear. I believe 160 degree thermostats is all you can get now. 190,s or 180,s would be nice.
