Hi All,
I changed the oil and filter in my Dad's 1941 B. Still lots of work to do I think. Seems to be no oil pressure and quite a bit of smoke. I welcome any thoughts on next steps. Video here:

WHY would you continue to run if it didn't build oil pressure within 20 seconds? You sure weren't doing the main and rod bearings and other moving parts any good!

Remove the crankcase cover and check for a broken oil pump coupling, sludge-clogged screen that surrounds the oil pump and damaged oil lines or oil filter "head".

The oil pump coupling is a square part that joins the oil pump shaft to the upper pump drive shaft that's driven from the camshaft.

Debris entering the pump or cranking the engine in freezing weather with water settled in the pump will break the coupling (as will any other situation that seizes the pump gears).
