oil cooler inlet fitting

I'm a 2 banger person working on a friend's early 4020-please cut me some slack. On the right side of the engine, the small diameter hoses from the water pump to the heater to the bottom of the pringle's can
like oil cooler, to the block need replacing. A rat ate a hole in one, but they are all groty. The lower fitting on the pringles can tall tube is very corroded. This comes out at a right angle at the bottom facing
forward, not at an angle up and forward as I've seen in some pics. With all the gunk, I can't tell if this is a replaceable hose fitting or pressed into the lower part of the oil/ water cooler (heat exchanger). I
don't want to mess with it until I have a vague idea what I'm doing. Is this hose fitting replaceable and how? Thank you for helping the ignorant! Someday I may be able to count higher than 2, but it's a struggle.

I doubt it is an O-ring since they show other O-rings in the drawing, but one is not shown there.

I would lean towards screwed in or pressed in. That tube part number shows up as used in some water pumps and heads, as well in the oil cooler.

It is pressed in, last one I removed, I took a die grinder to the inside of the tube to weaken it in a couple spots and started wiggling and it came out. Coat new one with loctite red and tap in. Just emery cloth it first, sometimes they look worse then they are.

AS Tom correctly stated the tube on oil cooler base and water pump housing are pressed into casting. It is not an individual service part if it is failed. The other very odd thing about this hose nipple is it is very odd diameter. (9/16) 5/8 hose is too large and will leak. 1/2 hose is too small and will not go over nipple. Use to be a TY part number that is now no longer available that you cut in two pieces to get same hose needed for both ends. JD dealer today will give you a hose that is too large and will leak. I by my 9/16 size hose from a independent supplier for this application. DW
