any one have any experiences with a 110/115 disk ?
looking at some old brochures ,
ive never been around one,
looks like finish disk, maybe a good fit for a 4020?
thanks

Had a 210 20 ft disk. Spring loaded scrapers worked great until the spring would break. Carried extra springs, hammer, leather gloves punch and roll pins or cotter pins to change spring. But my biggest dislike was the 5/8 inch grade 5 bolts that fastened the bearing standard to rectangular tube. Bolts would stretch then come loose. More than once wrapped chain around gang to get it home. Believe the 215 disks went to 7/8 inch bolts instead of 3/4.

I have a 111. Good finishing disc in tilled ground but does not do much in hard ground unless you make 3 or so passes. They do not ridge like the older BW BWA's seemed to. Tom

i got a 110 . they do a good job with those dished blades. 14 ft.
need a 16-18 ft for a 4020

Thats a nice disk I pulled a bwa with manual fold wings it would handle it fine in 5th gear

(quoted from post at 22:07:24 10/15/21) i never heard of a 111 disk! i learn stuff on here quite often!

I've never heard of a JD 111 disk harrow until now. IMHO 110 & 210 disk harrows were definitely for finish tillage. I owned a 210 & later a 310 that I custom plowed many acres. 310 did much better soil penetration than 210

Those model tandems level soil in loose soil but in firm soil will follow a tractor resembling a snake trail. One needs to take extra care if tilling hard soil next to fence or other obstacles.

Brain just kicked into gear after coffee. Think I had a 230 disk. IIRC model 235 had bigger bearing hanger bolts. All other comments still apply.
