Im sure this has been discussed many times here, and this is a bit new to me , so thought Id ask
Rebuilding the control valve as there was a couple broken coupler sockets and seals that needed replacing , so got the parts
Also decided to replace the 4 valves and seals in that kit for rebuilding that part of it.
Valves had some debris on the Teflon part of the valves, checked and did what I could to make the seats useable
Wondering on the detent piston, mine dont have the spring type, Is that an update kit? To use that and put those parts in?
Also in rebuilding one a few years ago, it seemed like I put air pressure in the couplers to check for leakage when done
I did that and have a lot of air blowing out somewhere, which would be the front side Trying one coupler at a time and they both blow air out.
Im sure the valves are closed as there is travel between the rollers and cams. I dont have the plate to set this properly with a dial indicator etc, just looking in and seeing there is travel before the cams push the rollers. Is this supposed to seal up with air pressure? Any suggestions or thoughts?
Thanks
I have the type with parts shown 2A 6A 8A in the breakdown
