Probably been covered before, but will a late JD 6600 404 combine engine bolt easily into a 1967 4020 PS tractor? Curious if other parts may need changed for the swap.

Tim S or some other member could have better answers.
404 engine will bolt up fine. One will need to alter the throttle control linkage for inj pump due to pumps different location. Water pump or pulley will require changing.
