I agree with the other fine gents IFFFFFFFF its still the original positive ground ?? - coil terminal receives voltage from the ignition switch being ON while its other + wires to the distributor where it gets its POS ground when the points are closed..
Often a bad coil is one of the last reasons for no spark while burned corroded oxide covered or pitted points are the leading cause. In case you haven't already diagnosed the cause of no spark or checked the points here's a Troubleshooting Procedure
