Some years ago I saw a post with instructions on how to modify the shift positions on a 4430 quadshift. It resulted in the 3-4 gears being moved to the 1-2 position and vice versa. Moving the 3-4 gear shift close to the 1-2 reverse gears is much more loader friendly. Then the reverse is the same speed as the adjacent gears (3 and 4) on the shifter (Makes forward and reversing much nicer). Otherwise reverse is way faster then 1 or 2 and you go backwards much too fast. I have been trying to find those instructions again. Is there anyone who can help?

Youll have to check the parts book, but the shifter cam out of a synchro 4630 or maybe a 4520/4620 would work.

Instructions? I wouldnt call them instructions. But if thats what you want then youll need to procure the top shifter cam from a synchro range tractor and swap that in, hook your linkage back up and you will have effectively switched positions with your high and low range.

Product Review - by Staff. When we finally checked out the 3000 PSI North Star, the whole story chaned. This unit was equipped with an 11 HP Honda engine with fuel shutoff, adjustable flow and optional syphon degreaser dispenser. It didn't have a pressure release or electric start to facilitate easy starting but according to the instructions, simply pulling on the trigger while cranking was sufficient. This method of starting proved more than adequate and kept the cost down on the unit. It had all the important
