what do you feel is the value of a 1953, model 60 gas tractor?
not restored, original paint, good sheet metal, roll omatic,
no power steering, 800 3pt hitch,
back tires holding air, but wore out, looks and sounds good,

im having trouble coming up with a fair price, any help?

i think the 2 cylinder market is falling, or it seems in my area

The 800 hitch should add some value to a tractor or used to anyways. Any pictures? If forced to make a guess off of the above description I would say 1,800-2,000 dollars based on my area. Other areas will most likely be different. Without the 800 hitch 1,300-1,400 dollars most likely.

Local consignment auction house sold two JD 60s late last year. Both runners and decent tractors. Average price was $1000.
This is west central Wisconsin. Theyre worth more in parts than they are whole :(

$1000 - $3000 depending on who wants it on any given day. You know what I always say, it is worth what someone is willing to pay at an honest auction.

No power steering makes it about a $1500-1800 tractor in my area even with the hitch. At that price the manifold would need to be good and not a leaker like many. Tom

I would agree with the ballpark of 1500 for the tractor, are you going to restore it or leave as is. Rear tires will set you back approximately a grand even before you do anything else. I looked at a B last fall that was local, not a lot of Deeres in my area so I was very interested. Not great sheet metal, tires rotten, looked like it sat outside for years. The gentleman wanted 3500.00 for it, sorry but it still sitting in his front yard,
