Would like some opinions on this loader. I have a JD 50 and I know this is the best match loader. This is all new to me but I guess the selling point for this one is there is hydraulics to dump the bucket. Thoughts?

Look at it close to see if it's bent/tweaked, and look for cracks. Is the bucket decently straight? The 45 loaders are easy to abuse. From what I can see it looks OK but I'm no expert.

I have a #45 on a 60 and I really like how yours is setup ALREADY and it's stuff I want to do to mine. If you buy yours setup as is, you're well ahead. I like the wider and actual bucket. I like the hydraulic dump. I like that it looks like you have a hydraulic valve already mounted, which is really handy to have the hydraulic lift and dump, and I see what looks like a hydraulic reservoir tank. These loaders were pushing the capacity of the tractor so a tank is really helpful.

To me it looks OK. I'd jump on it if the price is decent. What are they asking, really not many people want these old loaders so don't go over a a few hundred bucks

Their are several things about it , you want to look at. First it started life as a trip bucket and some one added the dump cylinder, that is a plus if the geometry allows full travel to dump the load . Second, if you kick the snow out of the bucket, it will have a set of manure forks, with the extra wings added to each side and plate across the bottom of the forks. It's okay for loose material, but you won't be doing any serious digging with it. Third be sure you get the axle brackets to mount it, their rather hard to find if they are missing. WeirdDeere has covered the rest and i agree with your offer on the price .

45W loaders are rare in my area as were two cylinders with wide fronts. Price you mentioned is crazy high, maybe if in perfect condition, painted with decals and new hoses.

Looks like the axle mounts are there, but only see one stabilizer bar in the bucket and the front side mounts for them?

Looking at pic with add on valve & reservoir ,large hose down in snow , I'm guessing goes to a PTO pump , making loader a self-contained unit; Mounting brackets look to modified, It might have been on another brand tractor; [pic looks like dealer it a home for orphan loaders]Where's it located?... .. If your going to use 3pt equip on 50 , [post digger, mower, blade] I look for a No. 800 hitch for tractor...

IF YOU ARE NOT REALLY INTERESTED, I AM. WHERE IS THIS LOCATED? WOULD LOVE TO FIND A 45 LOADER WITH WIDE BUCKET AN PTO HYDRALICS. GRANDPA HOCHSTETLER 260-414-2541
