Jd 4010 mid pto leak parts missing

The standard headed screw in the center of the 1000 mid pto came out today while blowing snow. What else is behind that screw. Looked at parts diagrams and called jd... just part #70. Any ideas why it would come out? Sure drained alot of fluid... its a 1960 4010d we use the mid pto for the fel pump.

Screw in end of frt of pto shaft is R32121(key 27). It's possible pin & spring(keys 29 & 30) are missing. I can't remember how long the pin is.

Key 70 is utilized to attach pto guard

I used a light to looked down the shaft and there was nothing after the threads stopped. Which would mean the pin and spring are missing?
