I have a JD 2020 a few weeks ago the customer sent in a loader lift cylinder to be resealed and we found a good amount of meatal paste in the dead end of the cylinder. So we advised them that they should have the hydro system inspected and cleaned. Now I have his tractor and it runs and drives great but when you lock the left brake the right wheel digs as it should but if you lock the right brake the left wheel has a grinding sound coming from it. So I have removed the left axle and everything feels tight and then removed the rockshaft to be able to see in the transmission and see the diff. There is a little amount of very fine meatal in the corners of the diff housing but looking at all the gears and bearings everything looks to be in very good shape. The only thing I have found is that the keeper on the left hand bearing has some play in it but the bearing itself visibly looks good and rolls smooth. I was wondering if there is anything else that you knew of for me to check?
