2950 Wiring Diagram

I am in need of a comprehensive wiring diagram for my 2950. It's not in the I&T shop manual. I used to have a 4050 that I needed a wiring diagram for, and even the Mother Deere manual didn't have it for that tractor, either. There was a *thick* shop manual I found online that was well over $100 that I assumed had it in it.

Is there a similar manual for the 2950? Is there another way to source a complete wiring diagram that doesn't involve a cool Benjamin?

Thank you for your time.

The index in the preview says it has wiring diagrams. Good manuals cost money. Check eBay there are some originals and reprints there for less than the JD bookstore, $100 isn't bad for a good manual, many cost a lot more than the one you need. I have some of the peacefulcreek reprints and they are good quality, I think SV will agree.

I believe there was a supplementary manual for just the cab electrical, will check my library

the wiring diagram on the 50 series tractor made in Germany are and can be a real challenge tell you learn how to read them ty are colored and number wires and then throw in if it had the circuit board conversion kit and also the starter relay up date that added a solenoid under the hood and a few more wires it can be fun.

Any luck?

Hope he finds something for you. I went back and searched the JD Ag tech book store and nothings shows up even as a component manual. Maybe it came out in a service bulletin.

At least if you have to buy a manual, the wiring diagrams are in TM4407. There is a number (1-800-522-7448) at the top right of the picture, you can call if you want to talk with a person and confirm that before you buy something. I expect the reason there were no wiring diagrams in the 4050 technical manual you got is that you got the repair manual (TM1353). The 4050 is one of the models that has/requires 2 technical manuals, to get all the info. The second, TM1259, is called operation and testing. It has the wiring diagrams and the testing procedures for the tractor systems. So they get twice as many Benjamin's if you get the set. I found that out when I got manuals for my 450E, it has 2 as well. The Ag and construction/forestry bookstores are handy to check out what the publication numbers of the manual(s) you need to find for a given machine. The previews will let you see the index of the manual for most of them.

What kind of terms are you on with the folks at your JD dealer? guys at the dealer i use have helped me out a couple times.
Nothing to lose in asking if they will print off the electrical diagram that applies to yours. Best case they say yes and print it for you, and your ahead. Worst case they say they can do that and you are where you are now. just a thought.

Thanks for advice, guys. My wife, the eBay/Amazon/Google Guru, found a reprint of the full service manual for the 2950 (table of contents page shows "Wiring Diagrams") for less than $50. Supposed to be here Monday. Even if it doesn't have the full detailed diagrams, it's still something good to have vs. the "bare bones" I&T manual.
