Turns out the rockshaft return fitting and the pump supply
fittings are the same . Lost the original somewhere . Just
dropped the fitting off at the machine shop to bore and tap
 
Not sure what you are saying or doing?? Just make sure the new check valve that you are adding to elbow fitting is installed in the bottom elbow / location which is the supply line to front pump. Check valve prevents the front cooler / reservoir from draining back when setting.
 
The check valve in the transmission is not doing it’s job because it takes a good two or three or minutes for the pump to pick up oil when you start the tractor . So when someone posted about this check valve in the elbow I thought may as well give it a try . I had the loader return plumbed into the wrong elbow and somehow I lost the original elbow but luckily the rockshaft return elbow is the same as the pump supply elbow

Check valve is NOT in transmission pump, it inside transmission case basically inboard and above the area where he is playing with the two fittings.
