1010 430 parts

My 1010 finaly bit the dust, # 2 piston I have been looking at a 430 My 1010 is an early model the Trans. and rears look the same as the 430 .Are any of the parts interchangeable ?

A slant steer 420, a 430 and a 1010 up to serial number 31,000 will cross breed many components .

My opinion is to fix the 1010 engine if its a gas, then you will know what you have. If it s a diesel, then I would still fix the engine but turn it into a gas with the correct components.

Keep in kind that the 430 may be a headache too as you dont know the history on it.

You can look in the parts book on JDPARTS.COM and see what crosses tpo each of these tractors

Agreed my 1010RS is number 27XXX and I find lots of parts are interchangeable.
