630 front rim width

What front wheel rim width should be on a row crop 630? I replaced the 6:00-16 tires with 7:50-15 tires and rims years ago when This tractor had a loader. There is no loader on it now and I have been considering changing back to 6:00-16 just because. Recently a very nice pair of 6:00-16 tires fell in my lap so I have the tires, now I need rims. YT lists a 5:50 rim and a 6:00 rim width. I assume I need the 5:50 width rim. Am I right? This tractor has a square wide front end.

Seeing as I hope to collect a 630 at some point most of the ones I have seen have been equipped with 6.00 X 16 front tires. Take it for what it may be worth to you.

The YT rim replaces JD1293 for both width rims? As I understand nobody duplicates the exact shape of the original Deere rims.

I found I do have a parts book. Forgot I had it on the shelf right in front of my face. It appears the 1268 was for Rol-O-Matic. The 1274 was on the adjustable wide front for the early 620 the 1290 was on the adjustable wide front for the late 620 and all 630s. I don't know if the different number for the narrow front and wide front has something to do with the offset or what? All three part numbers are rims for the 6.00x 16 tire but there is no rim width spec and when I went to the Deere website they don't list specs anymore that I could find, just a scan of the page I already have in front of me. One aftermarket company I found lists the rim as 4.00x16. YT has a 5.50 or 6.00x16 listed. The 4" width rim seems like it would be too pinched. The 5.50" rim sounds more reasonable but I would think a 5" wide rim would be about right. A month ago I changed the front tires on a 730 narrow front with factory rims but of course I did not measure the rim width like I should have.

OK now I am getting somewhere. The 4" wide rim was in the 630 parts page on several old tractor parts websites. When I finally clicked on the rim picture and got more specs on it this rim is actually for a B! Why do they have it on the 630 page if it is not for a 630? It looks like YT gets my business.

The JD1268 and JD1274 are exactly the same configuration except the JD1274 is made of heavier gauge metal. The off set on the JD1290 is totally different and was intended to get more distance between the tire and the wide front knee/spindle assembly. There are a lot of used original JD rims out there, the JD1290's usually demand the highest price.
