Only year manufacture info that I can locate is JD 567 series rd baler were manufactured between 2000-2007

Many yrs ago when I was employed by a JD dealer a Farm Equipment Assn. published a book similar to "auto blue book" that contained serial #s vs yrs plus estimated Resale & Wholesale values. I don't remember any 567 updates BUT I perform my own updates that really helps starting the bale core when baling Coastal Bermuda & other grass type hay.
According to one source of "for sale units" I located 302XXX is a 2004 model & a 567 SN 317XXX is a 2005 model

Before my modification I had problems with Coastal running up belts in front of baler & lodging. This happens worse when baling smaller windrows IE less hay production per acre & if grass gets too DRY.
I had a welder put rods 14'' long on each end of metal starter between original rods. I also had welder put 3 weld dots on backside of each feeder fork in pickup attachment. I have virtually eliminated any bale core starting problems or hay running up frt belts. Most of my balers previous bale core starting problems I will attribute to ""operator error"" because I can't operate tractors/balers any more due to my nerve damage
