Anybody use a hy cycle sprayer

I hauled one for a local cotton farmer years ago.
I was dating his daughter a little and was trying to impress her dad.
Drove a flatbed truck and when we got it loaded, it looked awfully high.
Went from NW SC to south GA to get it in Unadilla, GA.
GA interstates did not have the bridge heights marked at that time.
Had to slow down and look at each one as we got close to it and sometimes pulled down in the median to get low enough.
Farmer's son went with me.
Was a very long day.
The girls parents liked me a lot, and that made the daughter mad.
She started treating me bad and I told her where to go.
One of the best things that ever happened to me as I look back.
Richard in NW SC

That engine is a 4239 or a 4039 like the one I just bought out of a 6000 Hi Cycle. It is going in my 2510.

25 Miles south of Unadilla, Ga.

We've got a 6000 without a cab and several Hahn hiboys. Put many a mile on them in a year spraying corn, soybeans, and topping/spraying tobacco. They're handy for sure. Don't have to tie up a tractor unnecessarily for spraying if can help it.

SV the 6000 is pretty stable from left to right with it opened up to 96 to 120 inch rows. It can get kinda exciting going up a steep hill with a partial tank of spray solution. The front end tends to want to rise up. Have known of a few neighbors that have had theirs stand straight up and back onto the booms loading them onto the trailer for transport. They've got some age on them now but they are still an effective sprayer tho.

I bet that is one scary sob to ride when she rears up . Wonder why a guy couldn’t hang about ten suitcase weights off the front ?

If could figure out a way to mount some weights up front it'd be a help. I ain't for sure but I want to think the wide front wasn't available until the 6500 series came out.
