Tach and hour meter work intermittently and seem
to have quit altogether now. I know it’s electronic, so

I'd start by looking behind the gauge for a loose connection.

If it has a cab/"SGB" there's a printed circuit board behind the gauges that gives all sorts of trouble. (If I looked correctly #AL70294.)

Some $600 to replace it from Mother Deere.

If you have sharp eyes and soldering talents you may be able to repair it.

There's some aftermarket sources to rebuild or exchange them, hopefully others will have specific info on that.

Check speed-hour meter sender & wiring on LH front of engine. Check instrument cluster ground connections.
