What would you offer?

The husband and wife both passed away within a year and have this JD D left. I was asked to make an offer on it. I was told it runs but I have not heard it. The tires hold air... that is about all. It has factory round spokes up front and cast rears. It does not have a s.n. tag, not even rivets where one used to be. Kind of strange. It does have the wheat grooves under the front axle. I don't think it makes it worth more, just kind of neat. What do you all think? I'll see if I can get the pictures to work.

Looks like it could be a nice tractor. Hood, no tag, not running? I wouldn't give much over $1000.00.

im going to have to say 8-900 dollars if it dont run,
if you can hear it run, well we re taking some more money then,
