Hello everyone.
I bought a new 5055E about three years ago. Occasionally, my RPM tach doesn't cycle properly on startup or shutdown.
For example, when you turn the key to the "on" position, the tach does a "check" where it pegs the tach and then resets to zero before you start it. What it's doing is not going back to zero and might stop at 1100RPM on the tach. Then when you start it and go WOT or almost WOT,the tractor thinks it's over revving, sounds an alarm, and immediately cuts the fuel. Shut it off, cycle the tach again, and if it cycles properly...no issues.
I'm thinking a grounding issue somewhere. Anyone have an idea if or where the chassis ground for the cluster or electronics would be?
Thanks
