Unfortunately Dads place sold and I get to clean up a lifetime of"stuff" I drug this old plow out of the weeds because I think it looks cool. I am not selling but my buddy thinks it's worth decent money.I say it's worth scrap iron prices. Anybody able to settle this?

Bought one at a farm auction several years ago in decent shape for about $80. It was trip lift, not hydraulic. Had to put a couple of tires on it.

We are in Mid MO. I'm not sure I would want to depend on this as it sits but is all there and operational

J is thinking of something different. The 52 never was a hydrolc lift plow. Montgmery Ward did make a conversion kit for that plow tho. Most came on steel and were cut down on steel wheels to put rubber on. We had 2 like that and very good plows. Both 12" bottoms and they did make it as a 14" or 16" plow as well but was a bit light made for putting the power needed for 16" bottoms in most soil so most 16" were the heavier 4B in both the 14 & 16" sizes. Pulled ours with a 41 H farmall, 38 JD A, 46 JD B, 49 JD B and even with a TO-30 Ferguson.
