3 point arm support

After many, many years of the three point arms on our 4020 banging back and forth, being held in place with a rubber bungee cord, I would like to know if anyone has a better solution? I've thought about installing a quick-hitch, but I feel that may get in the way on occasion. Are there after market items out there to solve the problem? Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks!

I loop a wire around both arms pulled together with a spring. They don't bang around but the spring gives enough to hook up implements. I have a quick hitch on one tractor and it bangs around as well. The arms do have some wear spots and so do the sway blocks so that doesn't help. You might look into those Pats quick attach ends. They have a rod that holds the arms together. I don't have them but have considered trying them. They are smaller and less likely to be in the way than a full quick hitch.

Good point! I just need to find the correct length, and strength of a bungee, and then buy a handful of them and keep extras in the tool box. Nothing more annoying than breaking one, the arm hitting the tire, and you have to find some twine to hold it in place. I was just thinking there may be some spring-type anchors that mount off the rear axle like newer tractors??
