A John Deere oil tube

how does the inside two rockers arms oil on an "A" JD since the oil tube only has holes that line up with the outside 2 rockers?

Must be enough splashing around to do it ? Whatever you do DO NOT drill holes over the intake rockers or else it will really suck in the oil.

(quoted from post at 11:38:23 08/03/20) The oil drops into a trough that carries the oil across to each rocker.
this tractor must have the trough missing, it just has a tube that runs across the top of the rockers and fastens with 2 screws with 2 holes in the bottom side that lines up with the oil holes in the outside rockers,, but what I can't figure out it is was getting oil somehow to these center rockers because they are not worn out

Early ones had the trough in the valve cover. ( I sort of forgot about those ) Around 1941 and later they have the pipe that bolts to the rocker arm supports.
