Re: Help with G Flywheel Wrenches

Why not get the correct wrench? These are the only two styles of flywheel wrench I have seen for the JD two cylinders. Notice that
one has a greater offset than the other. I was told years ago by a person of authority (???) that the one with the greater offset
was for the model G tractor, due to having a larger flywheel, of slightly different design, I don't remember. Since I don't have a
model G I would sell the wrench for $50 plus shipping which would be about $11. Just a suggestion.

I too have two wrenches that are slightly different acquired during my auction addiction phase. Don’t know what they are made for. My experience with old JD wrenches has not been good as fifty years of rust on bolts tends to defeat them. Worth a try if you can find one.
