JD 2510 issue with 3-point

On my 2510 the 3-point will go up fine but only about half way down. When I kill the engine the 3-point will slowly drift all the down. Could use some ideas and/or help.

The three point hitch control lever moving as it should and cable secure via the clamps?

Have you relocated position of L/D control lever under seat to position "D"? If so next thing to do is adjust L/D mechanism following several steps outlined in JD 2510 tech manual.
