Hi All,
Hoping everyone in the midwest got their hay in before all this weather! Nothing better than racking small squares when it's 100F and 90% humidity to beat a coming storm! We racked 200 bales and then rounded the rest.
I've got a 3020 with a 48 loader. While shuttling big rounds with a bucket bale tine yesterday I noticed the FEL was really lacking. Bucket curl will lift tractor, no problem, though.
Got up this morning after thinking about it, and, decided to swap which set of SCV's the loader is going into--went from the right set (from rear of tractor) to the left hand side--massive improvement. No problems.
So; more details.
3020 Diesel, powerjerk, while troubleshooting this: https://forums.yesterdaystractors.com/viewtopic.php?t=1436581&highlight=
I drained the hydraulic fluid, replaced both filters and checke the screen (no material in screen, filters looked fine, hyd oil looked fine--replaced with new hydraulic fluid).
My boot fix on the steering cylinder line is still in place (if it's 100F outside, inside the barn is much warmer..waiting for fall to replace the hard line.)
Where should I start checking to see why just one set of SCV's are NFG?
I don't have a flow meter, but, I can, and intend to build an pressure gauge today or tomorrow.
Thanks all,
Joe
