My 1520 lift arms are acting up. When moving the control lever down the arms lower but upon release of the lever it starts to raise slowly. The lever will only stay down by holding it. I have tried the draft control setting in all settings with the same result. I have rebuilt the rockshaft piston in the past so I am familiar with the workings and can make the necessary repairs. I just need to know where to start repairing. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Sounds typical for worn friction washers with not enough tension to hold control handle where it is positioned. Shim spring washers(key 14) or replace them.
