4020 tail light question

I posted here on July 10 about a fender warning light and got good answers from TxJim.

Today I'm working on that units tail light and find a white (clear) bulb installed for the red function. Where does the "RED" come from? Even the Op Manual, OMR41754 E9, page 70, lists the tail light as a 15 candle power "White" bulb. The main tail light for field work is a sealed beam. I assume the Manual must have a misprint and a red bulb is needed.

Page 23 of that same Manual mentions the tail light as RED.

The manual is correct. The sealed beam light had like a red foil on the back. Even when new those rear lights were not very red and unless restoring one as a show piece I would add a good bright flasher to the fender to make sure traffic sees you. Tom

AR77324 is actually 4409X

Thanks Jim and Tom,

This is a collector tractor. Very unlikely it will ever see road time at night so I'll
leave the unit as is other than cleaning up dirt and rust. It does have the left top-fender amber light.
