Is there something that I need to switch to get the arms to work? The remotes work fine, I can lift up a New Holland 477 haybine with the remotes? This is the tractor with out the 3pt

1950 or 1 John Deere A with stuck motor. I'm planning on putting this on to the tractor in the first set of pictures.

mikewood869,

There is a metering screw in the left side of the housing. Take the cap hut off to reveal a screw that must now be turned all the way in, seated. That screw needs to be turned out two full turns for rockshaft operation.

(quoted from post at 09:59:31 07/14/20) Do what Mark and Dan said.

If those are supposed to be wheelie-bars in the first two pics they won't work worth a darn.

Thank you. Those pipes won't stop the tractor from going backwards. They are nice steps though.

Your tractor is later than 1950 as it has the DONUT holes in the rear cast 50 years did not unless someone put them on as far as your rock shaft 2 turns out on metering screw dummy plug in top port hyd hose in bottom for a single hose cyl and you can operate a 3btm simi mounted plow with your tractor
