New parts tractor; 1950 or 1 John Deere a

Ended up getting a 1950 John Deere A. From what the last owner says, he thinks it is a export tractor (has made in USA on the left side). The tractor was originally a wide front, but was switch to narrow front. This tractor also has a 3pt on it. The motor is stuck, but the belt pulley turns and the pto turns. We just wanted it for the belt pullet and the first reduction and some other parts. The brakes were locked up and it rolls without them in. The sheet metal is straight. The serial number is 662597.

Split pedestal A's are rare in my area, could be worth finding something else for parts. Should have some valuable parts either way. Nice find.
