1969 JD 4020 how to run loader plus disc single hydraulics

Just got my 4020 home yesterday, running like a champ. It has a 148 loader that is running off of the rear hydraulic connection. I want to get a set of disc for it and am trying to figure out if I need to remove the loader so I can have hydraulics for my disc.

I guess this will be an issue any time I want to run anything off the hydraulics other than the loader.

Thoughts?

PBY is power beyond. Its a block that goes between the selective control valve (SCV) and the rockshaft housing on side console 4020 and newer tractors that lets you plumb pressure and return to another closed center valve for a front end loader (FEL), etc.....

If your 4020 is a dash control model then youll have to plumb in your own PBY using Ts in the pressure and return lines.

PBY kit is available aftermarket for about $140

My 4020 has the selector on the right side near 3 point up and down. It also looks like there might be a place for another Hydraulic connection on the right side similar to the left side.

Yes a 2nd selective control valve can be added by removing plate in your last photo. I think one can install the PBY block on RH side by utilizing the block. Although the PBY's I've seen are mounted on LH side of rockshaft housing.
