Anybody ever see a new generation tractor with the regular seat?

I have seen three or four over the years. I have a complete assembly in my storage trailer. I thought about someday putting a completely bare bones no option 3010 or 3020 together. The last one I saw was on a 2510 that came from the south where tractors with few options are common. Dad had several 10 and 20 series tractors from there that never had fenders. The lights stuck out in front of the dash.On the 2510 with that seat it should not of had it as the deluxe seat is listed as standard equipment. Maybe the dealer had one left from a change over and the 2510 customer insisted on a cheaper seat? Tom

That would be kinda neat to do and then make one with all the bells and whistles you could add . At one time I was looking for a set of those light brackets to put on a 4020 so I could get more light

Concerning seats---I always thought the cushions on
the 2-cylinder tractors were more comfortable than
the ones on the 10 & 20 series.
I always feel like I am sliding forward on those.

A former landlord who worked for Deere in Moline said
that Deere hired John Kennedys back doctor to design
the seats on the 10 & 20 series when they were developing
that series tractor.
Well-----I don't think he spent 12 hours a day on a
tractor.

The seats on the 30 & 40 series have a lot more "rear
end" room---in my opinion.

I always thought the new generation sear was the best there was and I do spend 12 and 14 hours a day on em bouncing over Rough ground
