Hay guys I got in my 310A backhoe after it had sat all winter. To find I have water that got in the cylinders. I'm pulling the injectors to inch the engine over with the fly wheel. Is there any surprises I should be aware of? It looks like the water got in through the exhaust butterfly. I replaced the butterfly but I'll put a bucket over that from now on. I also have a intermittent loss of hydrolic power. Sometimes it's great other times I can't pickup the loader or backhoe. Could it be the pressure control valve?

I'll suggest to remove engine valve cover & check for stuck valves. Hyd problems on closed center hyd's requires very good diagnostics to determine the cause. Many things can contribute to poor hyd performance. How long since hyd filters were changed & trans oil screen checked/cleaned?

Could be the destroking solenoid on the pump , could be the filter relief valve. You need to trouble shoot the problem. Don't just start changing parts because someone says to.. I don't know if they are still there, but years ago I did quite a bit of correspondence here on this site.. There was an "Archives" section that you could look up any problem that was addressed. Look up "310-410 hydraulic problems"..
